Romanian "ciorba"


In Romania, we have many delicious soups which are called "ciorbă".


In this post, you will learn the process of manking on type of "ciorbă" called "rădăuţeană".



Ingredients:


700 g chicken meat (pulp or breast) / turkey meat can be used without problems a red bell pepper a large carrot ½ celery 2 eggs 3 cloves of garlic 300 g sour cream salt and pepper green parsley




Steps:


1. You need to wash the meat and boil it. Boil the meat well, using a spoon to remove the foam that forms during boiling.


2. Wash and cut the vegetables and afterwards put them over the meat to boil.


3. Boil until the vegetables soften and the meat can be removed from the bones. You can add a little salt. Once they are well cooked, remove the meat and vegetables in a strainer. The water in which they are cooked is stored.


4. Cut the chicken into thin strips and add to the boiled water that was previously stored.

5. The vegetables are added to the meat.

6. Separately beat the two yolks with cream and add a little juice from the soup. Add it over vegetables, mix well, season with salt and pepper and leave to boil for 2-3 minutes more.


Turn off the heat and add the chopped garlic and parsley.


At the end add some vinegar.
