Salmon is a a popular choice in Finland when you think what you want to eat. Fish is common food in Finland and Finnish food culture. It is easy, super delicious and healthy!
Ingredients for salmon and potatoes
4-5 big potatoes
400g fresh salmon
half a lemon
Salt and pepper
Instructions
1. Boil the potatoes and preheat the oven to 200°C
2. Season salmon with pepper and salt and 2-3 lemon slices on it.
3. Bake salmon about 15-20 minutes, until salmon is cooked through.
Ingredients for créme fraiche -sauce
200g crème fraiche
4-5 teaspoons of mustard
Half a lemon
One teaspoon black pepper
1-2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons dried or fresh dill
Instructions
1. Mix up all the ingredients with crème fraiche and squeeze fresh lemon juice in it. You can adjust it by your own taste and add some salt or mustard if it is not salty enough.
2. Let the ingredients combine and put it in the fridge before serving.
Serve salmon with potatoes and sauce, and you can add some butter on the potatoes!
