Green beans with potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 kilo of green beans (frozen or fresh)

  • 2 potatoes

  • 3/4 of a tea cup olive oil

  • 1 big dry onion

  • 1 kilo of fresh tomatoes or 1 package of tomatoe sauce

  • salt

  • 1&1/2 glass of water

Method

  1. Place a pot over medium heat and add 4 tablespoons of olive oil.

  2. Chop the onion and add it to the pot.

  3. Peel the potatoes and cut them into smaller pieces and put them to the pot.

  4. Mix them.

  5. Add the green beans to the pot and mix them once more.

  6. Add the tomatoe sauce or the smashed fresh tomatoes and put one tablespoon of salt.

  7. Don´t forget to put the water.

  8. Let them to be cooked for 30 minutes. Add the rest of the olive oil and let it boil for 10 more minutes.

  9. Serve with feta cheese and slices of bread.
